Carmen Suarez Martinez
Daughter to Ramon Suarez and Marciana Colon. Born in Villalba Puerto Rico. She came to Rochester, NY searching for a better life where she met Ramon Martinez. She married Ramon Martinez and was married for 61 years. She had six children, Candida (Juan), Yolanda (Louis), Wilfredo (Miriam), Naida (Walter), Luis (Maggie), and Ivonne. She has left behind beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, beloved church family, and beloved friends. Carmen worked hard to ensure her family had everything they needed. Carmen was a faithful Catholic. Carmen was a Eucharistic minister for Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Michaels church. She also assisted with bringing faith and Eucharist to people in nursing homes with Belen Colon and Irma Laboy. In Carmen's final days, she attended Holy Apostles Church. She was a kind soul that loved all her family and friends and never judged but hoped for the best in them all.
Services will be on Saturday April 30, 2022 10 am at Holy Apostles Church, 7 Austin Street, Rochester, NY 14606.
