Carol F. Harens
August 23, 1935 — January 5, 2021
Carol passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at age 85 from Alzheimer's Disease. She was predeceased by her beloved and devoted husband of 64 years, Frank; her son Michael, and brother Rev. Dr.Terence Fleming.
She will be remembered with a lifetime of memories by children; Cris (David) Schmanke, Richard (Laurie Alfieri, granddaughters; Alison O'Neil and Hannah Harens, brother Jack (Kathy) Fleming, daughter-in-law, Wanda Harens and nieces and nephews.
We are very grateful for the amazing and loving care she received the last couple of years by the very special and dedicated staff / family at Aaron Manor.
Carol was a graduate of Nazareth Academy. She worked in the accounting / bookkeeping field and was employed for several years by Our Lady of Mercy High School as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed many years of traveling, bowling, bingo, fishing and the last few years of her active life with Frank, enjoyed spending time at Finger Lakes Gaming and Casino.
Service will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Carol's name to Catholic Charities Community Service; 1099 Jay Street, Building J ; Rochester, New York 14611.
