Carol is predeceased by her parents, William and Irene Hardie, brother; Jack Hardie.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years; Ron, beloved son; David. Twin Brother; Bill (Linda)
Sister; Sandy (John) Trzaska, Irene (Pat) Jones. Several cousins, nieces and nephews, dear friends.
Carol was a graduate of Maryvale (Cheektowaga) High School (1966), SUNY Brockport (B.S. 1976),
Nazareth College (M.S.Ed, 1982)
Carol was a teacher (reading and math specialist) for many years at Crane Elementary School in the Rush-Henrietta CSD. She loved children, animals and enjoyed identifying birds. She loved to plant flowers, trees and gardening. Drawing, fishing, reading horse racing and crossword puzzles were her other passions.
At Carol's request, no prior calling hours or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to the Humane Society of Greater Rochester at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 or a charity of your choice in memory of Carol.
