Carole A. Coleman (CeCe) passed away unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 10th, 2021, at the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Greece NY, from injuries sustained in an accidental fall at her home in Rochester, NY
The family is deeply saddened by her sudden death.
Carole worked at the Law Office of Alan Glaser in Rochester, NY as a legal Assistant, for 30 years. Carole was a tireless advocate for countless numbers of Rochester area citizens, friends, and family in urgent need of legal and related services to assist them through many critical life challenges. She truly believed in a civil justice system that is accessible to all particularly the underserved in the African American Community. In addition to advocating. Carole was equally passionate about her faith, family, and friends.
Carole was born on November 19th, 1948, she is the eldest daughter of the late Howard C. and Artemesia (Brown) Coleman (Sr) of Elmira NY.

She is survived by her children, Donnell "Mann" Coleman, and Kameisha "Toi" Coleman, her siblings, Howard C. Coleman Jr., Colley Coleman, and Charisse (Anderson) Mitchell, her grandchildren, Kashawnda "Kiki", Christin, Telasia, Terran, and Jurnii, her great-grandchildren, Kai, Zurii, Kahri,
Uncle(s) Floyd Winston Coleman and Roland (Mildred) Coleman both of Elmira, NY her dear friends, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Briggs, Alma Gause and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours Thursday Sept. 23rd 9:30am to 11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 2636 Ridgeway Ave, where her service will follow at 11:30am.
