Brockport - Carole N. Lambert passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 89.

Carole was born in Kingston, Ontario, on September 17, 1934. She married Laurence F. Lambert on July 9, 1954, in Kingston, Ontario. The couple then moved to Watertown, followed by Ogdensburg, and finally settled back in Watertown. After her husband’s passing, Carole relocated to the Brockport, NY area, where she lived for over 20 years.

Carole dedicated many years to her most important role as a mother and homemaker. As her children grew, she worked in retail trades. Her life’s focus was her family, and she was devoted to ensuring her children had better lives. She encouraged them to pursue higher education, careers, and strong family values.

Carole was predeceased by her husband, Laurence F. Lambert, in 1993; her parents, Archibald and Nina Oliver; and her sisters, Grace (Ben) Lister and Shirley (Boyd) Adams.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Gary) Chase of Hamlin, NY; her sons, L. Mark (Gail) Lambert of Dexter, NY, and Stephen (Emily) Lambert of Chaumont, NY; her grandchildren, Christopher (Rose) Chase, Eric (Theresa) Chase, Stephen (Xandra) Gould, Brenden Lambert, and Ethan (Zoe) Lambert; her great-grandchildren, Blythe Chase and Elodie Gould; her dearest lifelong friends, Beverly Skinner, and Laurence & Betty Sarkin; many residents at Royal Garden Way, and her special neighbor Barbara Cole, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private interment will be held at a later date.

The family extends special thanks to the staff at Aurora House for their compassionate care. Contributions in Carole’s memory may be made to the Aurora House of Western Monroe County, 2495 S Union Street, Spencerport, NY 14559.
