Suddenly on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at age 61. She is predeceased by her nephew, Joshua Gruka. Survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Ron; son, Ron (Kelly); daughters, Andrea (John) Blanchard and Wendy (Scott) Callen; grandchildren, Hailey, Jack, Avery, Miles, Peyton and Michael; sister, Cindy; brothers, John (Pat), Robert (Carol) and Paul (Dawn) Gruka; along with many nieces and nephews. Carolyn will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.
There will be no prior calling hours. Her Memorial Service will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:00 A.M. in St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Ronald McDonald House, 333 Westmoreland Dr., Rochester, NY 14620.
