Carolyn L. VanderTang died December 29, 2023 at the age of 79. She was born July 5, 1944. She is survived by David, her loving husband of 57 years, her brother Gary (Jean), her sister Linda (David), and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, John Paul and Doris Maier.
Carolyn was a graduate of SUNY Geneseo and taught elementary school at Cal-Mum for thirty years. After retiring Carolyn took up quilting; a craft that she loved. She shared her work with family, friends and her church. Carolyn was a member of Ogden Baptist Church for 62 years and enjoyed singing in the choir with her husband, David.

Her memorial service will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, 2 pm at Ogden Baptist Church, 721 Washington St, Spencerport, NY 14559.
Donations in her memory can be made to Ogden Baptist Church memorial Fund. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ogden New York at the convenience of the family.
