Greece: August 26, 2010 at age 85. Peacefully passed surrounded by loved ones during the prayer for the Blessed Mother. Cecile was a true woman of faith. She was actively involved in the Senior Citizens Group at St. Charles Borromeo Church, where she was well known for leading the Rosary.
She is predeceased by her husband, Stanley, son, Donald and son-in-law, John Bense. Survived by her children, Robert (Vicki), Bernard (Peggy), John (Stephanie), Larry (Liz) Morrow, Eileen Bense, Betty Santillo, Mary (Mark) Cicero, Theresa (Sam) Rizzari, Linda (Terry) Scanlan and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Morrow; 24 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna (Joe) Evenski, Florence (Donald) Curran and Mary Irene Stubbe; numerous, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends may call Monday, August 30th 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, August 31st at 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Journey Home, 994 Long Pond Rd. which lovingly cared for Cecile during her final days.
