Rochester: Saturday, October 27, 2007, at age 84. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; companion and close friend, Nancy Hotel; children, Chuck (Linda), Jim (Debbie) and Dureen (RJ Statt) Smith; brother, Henry R. Smith; grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Brandon, Charelle, Joe, Shane, Nicole and Brook; step grandchildren, Christina (Carl), Meegan (Shawn) and Marilyn; step great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his cat, Cal. Chuck was a member of the Liederkranz Club and VFW Post 307.

Family and friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where his Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 10 AM. Entombment in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
