Greece: Died Monday, September 13, 2010 at age 96. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 73 years, Louise; son, Robert(Marilyn); daughters, Diane, Noreen (Todd) Kendall; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Charles was a United States Army veteran serving during WWII, Secretary treasurer of the Mens Catholic Bowling League for 15 years. He resided in Irondequoit for 50 years before moving to Greece.
There will be no prior calling hours. Charlie's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 18th at 10 AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road. Private Interment. Memorial contributions in Charlie's name may be directed to Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620 or to the Latta Road A Nursing Home Activity Fund, 2102 Latta Road, Rochester, NY 14612-3795.
