Fairport- Charles "Greg" MacGregor Simpson, 64, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 surrounded by the love of his family.
Charlie was born in Geneva, NY on November 3, 1957 to Charles and Lucille (Pitifer)Simpson. He went to SUNY Geneseo with a bachelors in education. He was a loyal employee of Wegmans for over 25 years. On January 19, 2019 Charlie married the love of his life, Stephanie. Together they loved traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with family. His passion in life was his family.
He is predeceased by his father, Charles Simpson Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, his mother, Lucille Pitifer-Simpson. , his daughters, Brianna (Anthony ) DeLorenzo, and Jenna (Connor Hamilton) Simpson, his step-daughters, Madeline Fournier, Grace Fournier, and Bobbi (Greg) Zimmerman, his step-grandchildren, Steven, and Elliot, and a host of family and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609, on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 10am-12pm, with a service to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Charlie's name to Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
