Passed away on December 31, 2006, at the age of 77. She was predeceased by her husband Earl Belknap, her parents, Lawrence and Eleanor McGovern and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Francis McGovern. She is survived by her daughters, Lucinda (Tom) Dole and Donna (Ron) Romashko; her sons, Richard (Renee) Belknap, David (Linda) Belknap, Bruce Belknap and Ronald (Deborah) Belkap; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and many close friends (neighbors). Special niece (nephew) Sharon and Tony Dumbleton and special friend, Betty Potter. Charlotte will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 4, 2007 from 4-8:00 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Family and friends are requested to meet on Friday at 9:30 AM in Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park for Charlotte's Funeral Mass. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Unity Health Foundation (Unity Living Recreation Center), 1555 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626.
The family wishes to thank the 2nd floor nurses/staff of Park Ridge Living Center (TCU) for the loving care that they have given Charlotte over the past 7 months.
