ROCHESTER- Charlotte E. Guenther, 101, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.
Charlotte was born in Rumburk, Czechoslovakia, on August 7, 1920 to the late Franz and Ida Guenther. In 1964 Charlotte moved to Rochester, NY with her daughter. She was an employee for Eastman Kodak Co., for over ten years, and for the last 36 years she lived at St. John's Senior Residence, where she lived independently.
She is predeceased by her siblings, Franz Guenther, Herbert Guenther, and Gertrude Cabizarova, and her son-in-law, Robert Hawkins.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Rosemarie Hawkins, her granddaughters, Karen (Charles) Lansing, Audry Wasnock, and Colleen (Christopher) Cornell, and her great-grandchildren, Taylor (Tyler), Chad, Olivia, Isabella, Drew, Isaac, and Ellie.
A funeral service will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609, on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 10am. Burial will be held at White Haven Memorial Park.
