ROCHESTER- Charlotte Mae Howard, 86, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 surrounded by the love of her family.
Charlotte was born in Clearfield, PA on September 4, 1936 to the late Odin Rowles and Leona Smeal-Rowles.
She is predeceased by her brother, Walter Rowles.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Vern A. Howard Sr., her children, James Valentine, Joyce (Mitch) Valentine, John (Wendy) Valentine, Sandy (Mike) O'Grady, and Vern (Christine) Howard Jr., her brother, Albert Rowles, and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Creations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626 on Monday, January 30, 2023, from 4:30pm-7:30pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14616, on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 9:30am. Burial will be held at White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Charlotte's name to Alzheimer's Association Rochester & Finger Lakes Region Chapter, 200 Meridian Centre Blvd Suite 110, Rochester, NY 14618, or the American Cancer Society, 1120 S Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620.
