On Sunday December 10, 2023 Christopher went home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ.
Christopher C. Hollins was born March 4, 1965, to Annie and John Hollins in Rochester, New York. He was the baby of five children.
Chris received his education through the Rochester City School District. He attended Pinnacle School # 35 and Monroe High School. Chris was a person who loved people and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a genuine, caring individual. He willingly took time to help others.
Chris loved to listen to music and was a pretty good cook and also tinkered with cars. Though never married, his love for children was undeniable even though he wasn't blessed with any of his own. If you had little kids, they fell in love with Chris.
Through his life Chris worked at many jobs including a meat packing plant, nursing home and as a auto mechanic. He spent many years in Albany where he had a cleaning business and worked refurbishing houses.
Chris was Blessed to have come from a large loving family, and he leaves to cherish his memory, his mom and Dad, Annie and John Hollins, three sisters Sharon Jacobucci, Cindy A. Shaw (Franklin Lyons) Tracey Lee Thornton/Durden and one brother Clarence A. Hollins. And a very special friend Kelly Long. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Family and friends may call 11am -12 noon at Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 6 Oregon St. Rochester, NY 14605. A funeral service will begin promptly at 12 noon. Interment White Haven Memorial Park.
