ROCHESTER- Claude Charles Jr., born & raised in Rochester, NY. Fifth child of eight. Childhood name "Butch". Dad, Diddy, and Grandpa to his creation.
Very inquisitive, a provider, and a simple man. He enjoyed a lifetime of sports; such as basketball, football, and bowling.
Married, a father of ten children, loved all his grandchildren and giving them nicknames.
A brother, he worked as an architecture, bus driver. He enjoyed time at the casino and loved sweets. He was a quiet man with a loud mind.
Predecased by his parents, Claude Charles Sr and Ethel Charles, his siblings, Linda, Odessa, Richard, and Earl Charles, and his wife, Marian Anderson Charles.
He is survived by his children, Adrienne Martin, Tracey McCray(Anthony), Sean(Terry Charles), Gabrielle, Nakiesha, Jason, Teikia, Claude 3rd (Makenzie Charles), Ronald, Melinda Charles, 3 silblings, 38 grands, 39 great-grands,….4 Generations continuing!! And a host of friends, including Brenda Simmons.
A service will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609, on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 3pm
