April 18, 1952 — December 3, 2023
Passed December 3, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer, at the age of 71.
Predeceased by his parents, Clifford & Bettie 'Kent' Roelle & brother, Ralph Roelle.
Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sally Roelle; children, Aprille (John) Roelle, Clifford (Pamela) Roelle IV, & Daniel (Tara) Roelle; grandsons, Clifford 'Ford' Roelle V & Alton Roelle; siblings, Susan (Alan) Dame, Charles (Kathy) Roelle, Michele Dame, & Thomas (Mary) Roelle; aunt & uncle, Robert (Elaine) Roelle; many many, nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends; special lifelong friend, Robert Babcock.
Clifford who went by many names including Chip, Chipper, Cliff, & Mr. Roelle, worked at Star Market where he met his wife, later for Wade's Marketplace for many years, & in retirement for Herrema's Food Market, in Irondequoit. He bowled in leagues for many years, loved to fish, & spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He had a sweet tooth, especially for cookies & pie.
A remembrance gathering will be held Sunday December 17, at The Lake Front Lodge in Webster Park, 1120 Lake Road, Webster, NY.
In lieu of flowers please send donations in Cliff's honor to the Arbor Day Foundation or Wild Wings.
