Constance Jane O'Dell "Connie"
Rochester: April 18, 2010, after a long and graceful struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Predeceased by her parents, Helen Harris and Harold Harris. Survived by sister, Sherry Tanner; and brother, Bob Harris. Also survived by loving children, Darcy O'Dell, Kent (Tammy) O'Dell; and beloved grandchildren, Bryan, Katy, Joseph, Shannon and Danielle.
Connie was born in Hutchinson, KS, May 10, 1935, but spent much of her childhood and early adulthood in Topeka, KS, where she still has many friends. Connie was a dedicated Social Worker. During her career she worked at Clifton Springs Hospital, Strong Memorial Hospital and Rochester General's Independent Living for Seniors.
Words cannot express how grateful we are for the tender care given to her at St. John's Home in Rochester, especially all the staff of Reservoir 3.
Family will recieve friends on Wednesday, April 21st, from 3-5 PM at the Immanuel Baptist Church, 815 Park Ave., Rochester, New York 14607 where her Memorial Ceremony will follow at 5 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm.
