Cynthia DiVincenzo, in the comfort of her home and surrounded by loved ones, joined her beloved mother and father, Josephine and Don, in heaven on October 12, 2024.
Cindy was known for her smile, quick wit, and extreme loyalty to family and friends. The fourth of seven children, Cindy is survived by Linda (Ken), Don, Debbie (Tom), Gary (Donna), Rick (Janine), and Judy. She also leaves sister-in-law Joanni, who lovingly cared and stayed with her. Cindy loved Danny Appleby (predeceased) and his daughter Hailey. Cindy had several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews: Lydia (Tyler), Erica (Silas, Zoey), Valerie, Michelle (Mercedes), Sarah (Dominic), Chris, Ashley, Josh (Josh Jr.), Jordan in heaven, Alexis, Alyssa (Barry Elijah), Shane, Joey, Alyea, Justin, Kaitlyn (Mac, Abel, and soon Cillian). "Give rest, O Christ, to thy servant with thy saints, where sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting." No day will pass without missing her... always in our hearts.
Family will receive friends Monday, October 21, 2024, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Stanislaus Church, 1124 Hudson Ave, Rochester, NY 1462. Immediately following the service, all are welcome to Cindy's celebration of life, held at the former DiVincenzo Restaurant, 1517 Empire Blvd, Webster, NY 14580.
