Cynthia Kessler, 51, of Webster, NY, passed away on February 3, 2021, at the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester, NY, after a four-year battle with cancer.
Cyndi will be remembered for her kind spirit, loving nature, grace, generosity, sense of humor and unforgettable laugh, which warmed the hearts of all who knew her.
She loved spending time friends, and many of them became her family. Her love and passion for the arts brought Cyndi much joy, from her studies in graphic arts in high school to later receiving her Associate of Arts degree from Monroe Community College. Throughout her life she continued to study art in the community, where she inspired others to experience art and to create beauty.
Cyndi cared deeply for animals. She cherished her time volunteering at the Animal Sanctuary and was a wonderful mother to her two dogs, Gus and Chloe. Her love of nature inspired her many travels and activities, from scuba diving, to hiking Yellowstone, and kayaking along bays and rivers.
Cyndi is survived by many wonderful friends she chose as her family: Beth Anson (Mike Severn), Marcella Schreiber, and Sylena (Wayne) Bradford.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 12th, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Boulevard, Rochester, NY 14609. A private service will immediately follow.
