Dana Jean Magee

GREECE - Passed peacefully on Friday, Feb­ruary 23rd 2018 at age 53. Dana was born in Brad­ford, PA. on January 6th 1965 to the proud par­ents of Gene & Beverly Persichini. She was the youngest of three chil­dren, her favorite sister, Jill Perry, and her fun lov­ing brother, David Persi­chini. Dana moved to Rochester in 1983 to attend Bryant & Stratton College where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA in Fashion Merchandise & Design. By the grace of God she attended a Halloween party where she met the love of her life, David Lawrence Magee. They were married on July 21st 1990 on the Spirit of Rochester. Dana gave birth to her first child, Kevin Patrick Magee on March 13th 1997, Kevin was Dana's rock. She blessed the Magee family again by bringing Bryan Patrick Magee into this world on February 17th 2001, Bryan was Dana's pillow. As time went on, Dana said having two children was like having 20.

Dana touched the lives of so many people, she cleaned for people who became family, friends and loved ones. That's who Dana was and always will be. She possessed so many gifts that just came naturally, she made bonds, tight bonds with her sisters-in-law and left them all with fine memories. Her girlfriends were plentiful and beautiful, beau­tiful life long friends. We always teased Dana by saying "It's not all about you Dana", but you want to know what, this obituary is All About Dana. Dana wrote in Dave's last birthday card, that the best gift he ever gave her was their two boys, Amen. One soul touched so many lives, that's Dana Jean, love you baby.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Dana at 11 AM on Saturday, March 17th at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave. Rochester, NY 14612. The family will greet friends prior to the mass at 10:30 AM.
