Passed peacefully June 9, 2023 at the age of 90.
Survived by his wife of 70 years, Marie; daughters, Jacqueline (Edward) Addy & Kathleen (James) DeBellis; granddaughters, Megan (Matt) Syfrett, Chelsea (Danny Casarella) Addy, & Hannah DeBellis; & other family & friends.
Dan was retired from the Monroe County Sheriffs Office as a Sergeant Detective after 25 years of service. He was the Drum Major of the Rochester Scottish Pipe & Drum Band and a retiree of Kodak Security. Dan was a member of the Freemasons with ERAC 154 achieving the rank of Master Mason.
Calling hours will be Friday June 16, 3-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Burial will held privately at White Haven Memorial Park. Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers please donate in his honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Wilmot Cancer Institute.
