Predeceased by his parents, Robert & Angela Thornton; brothers, Randall & Richard Thornton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Elaine (Sicienski) Thornton; son, Timothy Thornton; daughter, Kimberly Thornton; sister, Carole Thornton; brother, Robert (Kathy) Thornton; many nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
Darryl will receive friends in celebration of his birthday Sunday, May 5th from 10-12pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
