Predeceased by his brothers, William Burkhart & Ralph Burkhart.
Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Muriel Burkhart; children, Matthew D. (Amy) Burkhart & Christine M. (Kevin) Didio; grandchildren, Matthew Burkhart Jr., Henry Burkhart, Brooke Didio, & Beau Didio; sister, Elizabeth Burkhart; mother in law, Marjory Fischer; & other family & friends.
Services will be April 12, 11am at St Mary's Church, 95 North Main Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424. Private burial at Lakeview Cemetery in Canandaigua.
In lieu of flowers please donate in Dave's honor to St. Benedict Parish or Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association.
