David L. Rinsem, born on August 28, 1937, in Fairbault, Minnesota, passed away on February 19, 2025, in Rochester, NY. A proud Navy Veteran, David served his country with honor before transitioning to a distinguished civilian career.
David moved to Albany, NY, after his Navy service, where he met his beloved wife, Jane Little. Their marriage of 65 years was filled with love, companionship, and shared experiences, marking a significant journey together.
David spent much of his professional life working at Xerox, where he made significant contributions during his years of service. Following his retirement, he dedicated himself to the Irondequoit School District, working as a bus driver and trainer. He took great pride in his ability to navigate the challenges of driving a full-size bus, often boasting about his skill in parallel parking such a large vehicle—a testament to his expertise and commitment to safety.
David is survived by his wife, Jane Little Rinsem; daughters, Kathi Turano and Kelly Martin; grandson, John Ross Turano; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember him fondly. His legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the memories they hold dear.
