Rochester - On May 1st, 2024, Deborah Ann (LaRocco) Remillard passed away peacefully into the arms of her angels surrounded spiritually and in person by her family and dear friends after a 20-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. A fiery, fun-loving woman, Deborah lived loud and passionately, loved fiercely, and laughed heartily all of her 64 years. Deborah's presence lit up any room, and her absence will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of sharing their lives with her.
Deborah worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of Crestwood Children's Center for many years before MS forced her to retire early on disability. She then went on to create Classic and Chic, a boutique business featuring her originally designed Glamour Bibs and personalized floral arrangements, with her mother, Caroline.
Deborah was predeceased by her father, Anthony LaRocco. She is survived by sons, Richard Crowder (Morgan) and Dakota Winterhawk; mother, Caroline LaRocco; brother, Michael LaRocco (Jennifer); grandchildren, Corey (Castelletti) and Orora (Crowder); aunt and uncle, Rose and Scott VanDusen; and many loving relatives and friends.
Deborah will be remembered fondly by all those whose lives she touched with her grace, warmth, and generosity; and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. It was Deborah's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to MS Society.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Rest in peace, Deborah. May your memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
