Deborah "Debbie" Jean Ward, 64, of Rochester, NY was taken home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 8th, 2021.
Born July 21, 1957 to Donald and Betty DeCoste in Rochester, NY, the first of twin girls.
She married the love of her life, Chuck, November 29, 1980. The two love birds were inseparable ever since. She lived for her husband, their three children and 9 grandchildren.
Debbie was one of the most creative and talented artists in all she did. From Quilts and Wedding dresses to Wedding cakes to dolls and gifts, she poured her heart and soul into everything. She was the greatest cook and baker and everyone looked forward to her beautiful and delicious Christmas cookies every year. She always said that she had three favorite children. Her favorite first born, Charlie, her favorite blue eyed baby boy, Andy, and her favorite baby girl, Chandra. She loved her family with all her heart and was her father's daughter in all the best ways. She enjoyed fishing with her husband and children and loved her gardens of Lilacs, roses and tulips and watching the birds and butterflies.
Debbie was predeceased by her parents Donald L. DeCoste and Betty Jane DeCoste, her grandson Maxwell Foley and her older brothers William "Billy" DeCoste (her Bully) and Peter DeCoste.
She was survived by her doting husband Chuck A. Ward, son U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Charlie Ward and his son Brendon, son Andy Ward(Joeline) and children Steven, Leah, and Maddie, and her daughter Chandra Foley(Matthew) with children Clayton, Riley, Mathias and Elora. Also brothers Donald, Fred, and Dennis and sisters Linda, Denise, Tina (her twin) and Beejay, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews and was beloved by them all. She was also "Momma Ward" to the children she didn't have to give birth to USAF TSgt Manny Coley, Timmy Coley, Mahogany "Hoggy" Coley, Dave Donnor, Katie Kline, Matt Elder and Amanda Flynn and many more.
Calling hours will be November 15, 2021 at Living Water Christian Fellowship 9am to 10am with service to follow at 10am. A lunch will be directly afterward at the church for those who want to celebrate her life together.
