Debra Lee Costa

On Tuesday June 11th, Debra Costa, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 53. Debra was born on August 2, 1965 in Canton, NY to Connie and David McCarthy.

Debra had a passion for fashion and was always styling and in heels, even at her son's motocross races. She had pursued her interest in fashion through attendance to Continental School of Beauty for Cosmetology and turned that into a career as a hair stylist. She loved to create things, for as long as I can remember, she was always crafting something new and she ended up regularly making and selling beautiful one of a kind pieces of jewelry.

Debra was also a great friend and a second mother to many. She made such a positive impact on countless people throughout her life that will never be forgotten.

Debra had a childlike aspect to her, her excitement for the smallest things in life was pure and her love for shiny things was out of this world. She truly was one of a kind.
Debra is survived by her husband Lawrence Costa, children David and Lauren, her grandson Jaxson and her dog Oliver.

Friends may call 12-2 pm Saturday August 3, 2019 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (corner of Long Pond Rd.) A funeral service will be held in Debra's honor following visitation at 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
