Delores J. Garnham

December 13, 1935 — January 8, 2021

Delores J Garnham
Greece - Friday January 8, 2021

Predeceased by her first husband; Marshall Runge.

Delores "Dee" (Runge) Garnham, 85, peacefully left this life and passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, January 8, 2021. She is survived by the loves of her life: her loving husband Robert Garnham; daughters Diane (Paul) Cope, Sandra (Steve) Clark, Karen (Brad) Files, Judith (Brian) King, and Sue A. Runge; step-sons John (Joni) Garnham, Jim (Debbie) Garnham); 20 grandchildren and spouses, 11 great grandchildren with two on the way.
Dee had an "elastic" heart that knew no limit. There was always more love available for her ever-growing family, circle of friends, professional associates or strangers at the checkout. She never met a person or puppy that she did not love. Life's simple joys for Dee included gardening and blueberry picking.
Dee placed her faith in Jesus Christ as a young adult and wasted no time in leading her children to the same faith. Along with her first husband Bud Runge, she served her dear Savior in several churches in the areas of Sunday School, JOY clubs for children, choral and special music, hospitality to many, widows' support, prison ministries, friendship evangelism, neighborhood Bible studies, prayer and support of worldwide missions. Her life touched thousands and will be deeply missed.

Best known for her beautiful voice, Dee brought joy to others and accepted any invitation to sing at church services, funerals, or community hymn sings. Singing and speaking became intertwined in her final days here on earth. She left a legacy to her daughters of the gift of harmonization.
