Rochester-Deloris Ruth Davison 2/10/48- 8/22/22

Deloris (Dee) passed away on August 22nd 2022 at the age of 74. She is survived by her husband Jack Davison, daughter Jacqueline ( Ralph) Romero, grandchildren Alyssa Vogel and Adrian Romero, and her beloved dog Snickers.

Dee was well loved by her nieces and nephews. She was very involved with them while they grew up. Dee shared a special bond with her sister Karla Lee Fogler ( predeceased) and they enjoyed spending time together.

Dee attended Eastridge high school. She worked for years at Eastman Kodak and made many friends while there. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling, cruises, vacationing to Florida and entertaining. She was known to be a caretaker of anyone who was in need. She took care of her mother Deloris Allard for years while she battled MS, and her grandmother Margaret Dehn whom she lived with for many many years. She enjoyed cooking for her husband Jack and dog Snickers and preparing endless appetizers for Yankee and Bills games they watched on TV.

Dee loved her grandchildren and was never without a bowl of M & M's, cheese puffs, oreos or grapes to offer when she saw them.
She was incredibly proud of her collection of Annalee dolls and displayed them year round.

Deloris will be remembered for her dimpled smile and generous nature.


Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612, on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:30am. Burial will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
