Dennis was born in Richmond, Indiana on November 22, 1951. He received his Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, and his Master's in Industrial Engineering from Ohio State University. He moved to Rochester in 1974 to start working at Eastman Kodak Company, where he worked for 34 years, and in Rochester he met Barbara, who he married in 1976. Never one to be idle, he went on to work at Coca Cola and LiDestri Foods before completely retiring in 2013. His work took him all over the world, and he traveled to over 55 countries. He also visited 47 out of 50 states, and shared his love of traveling with his family. Dennis was a man of God, at times a church elder and deacon, and was known for teaching Sunday School locally in multiple churches. He loved to read and study, which only became more clear by a brief foray into his bookcase-lined basement. He loved all things chocolate, dinosaur, science fiction, and found immense happiness in spending time with his grandchildren. While he will be beyond missed, what joy his family finds in knowing he is free from all pain, and with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
