Diane Lynn Klafehn, 69 passed away on Sunday November 22nd, 2020.
She was surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of her own home. Diane was born in Rochester, NY to the late Paul and Dolores Helfer. She is survived by her husband John Klafehn; Her brother Scott Helfer; sister in-law Krissy Kaminski (Walt); her daughters Casey Hopkins (Brian Bellaire); Julia Hopkins (Chad Pike); step children; Matt Klafehn (Steph), Meghan Hanson (Olando); 6 Grandchildren Charlotte, Lillian, Henry, Sammy, Harper, and Jack.; extended family and many friends, and always her beloved dog Stewie and horse Mercedes.
Diane was a free spirited woman who was loved by many. She was a talented artist and avid gardener. She loved spending time with her family, enjoying time at the stable with her horses, and was always a friend to everyone she met in life, sharing her kind heart.
A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Rochester, NY on Friday November 27, 2020 at 12pm Section G6. A celebration of life will take place at a later date following COVID-19 crisis. In lieu of flowers donations made in memory of Diane Klafehn can be made to PAWS Animal Shelter Albion, NY.
