GREECE- Dolores C. Johnson, 88, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
Dolores was born in Washington, DC to the late French and Alma Carter on December 15, 1932. She was the loving mother to Eric (Linda) Johnson, and Michael (Toni) Johnson. Dolores worked for over 35 years for the Department of Defense in Washington, DC. After her retirement, she moved to Rochester, NY and began working part time at Britton Road Wegmans.
She is predeceased by her brothers, Lawrence "Buster" Carter, and French "Buddy" Carter Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Eric (Linda) Johnson, and Michael (Toni) Johnson, her grandchildren, Eric II, Michael, Nicholas, Christoffer, Gabriel, Benjamin, Andrew, and Austen, her 3 great-granddaughters, and her grand-dog, Colby.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, from 10am-11am, with a service to immediately follow.
