Suddenly, Friday, December 8, 2006, at age 64. Predeceased by his son, Donald Arthur Jr.; parents, William and Evelyn; brother, Robert; brothers-in-law, Richard Hutton and Ronald Reynolds. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, June (Reynolds) DeLapp; children, Jean (Scott Butler) Vaden, Caroline (Brett) Fry, James Frederick (Kim Pounds) DeLapp; grandchildren, James, Adrian and Jessica; sisters, LaRita Hutton, Mary DeLapp-Stevens, Patricia Kandt, Peggy (Robert) Pryor; brothers, William "Laverne" (Margie) DeLapp, Richard (Lois) DeLapp; brothers-in-law, James (Carol) and John (Barbara) Reynolds; sisters-in-law, Carol (Joseph) Quinn, Sharon (William) Sincavage, Mary (Mike) Parker and Gloria Reynolds; many nieces & nephews.
Donald was a member of the Elks Lodge in Webster and graduated from RIT with a degree in Electrical engineering, a retiree of Xerox, and an avid bowler and fisherman.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, 4-8 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd., Webster. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 15 Prince St., 14607.
