August 12, 1930 — July 14, 2020
Rochester - Donald C. Cosgriff, passed away peacefully at home on July 14th, at the age of 89.
Donald is survived by his wife, Rose Marie "Roddie" Cosgriff; their children Craig (Kim) Cosgriff, Janice (John North) Cosgriff, Gail (John) Seegler; Grandchildren Meghan Seegler, Kyle Seegler, Joseph (Jessica) Cosgriff; Great Grandchildren Niko and Sheridian Cosgriff, Great-Great-Granddaughter Paisley Grace Cosgriff; Sister, Sharon (Dennis) Wood; Brother Paul (Louise)
Parks; and many other dear cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Donald grew up in Cohocton, NY and served his country in the Navy aboard the USS Luiseno.
He retired from the Rochester Telephone Company/Frontier after 40+ years. Donald loved his many years of camping and travelling the country.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609, on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements.
Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Don's memory may be made to support Honor Flight of Rochester
