Irondequoit: Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at age 80. Predeceased by his brother, Richard. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Shirley (Krautwurst) Zuhlke; children, Donald Zuhlke of Miami, FL, Diane (Juris) Rudolfs of East Rochester, NY and Doreen McGurk of Plainfield, IN; grandchildren, Glenn (Tess) Rudolfs, Nicholas Zuhlke, Scott and Christopher McGurk; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Donald was a lifetime member of Salem United Church of Christ, a former Cub Scout Leader and served 7 years in the National Guard. He also retired from Eastman Kodak Company (DPI) after 35 years of service.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Kirkhaven Nursing Home and the staff at Strong Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Units 8-1400 and 8-3600.
Family and friends may call Saturday, April 10th, 2-4 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. where his Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 4 PM. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society At Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fariport, NY 14450 in Donald's Memory
