GREECE- Donald Kurt Koester, 67, passed away on October 16, 2022 with his loving wife by his side.
Don was born in Ontario, Canada on December 27, 1954 to the late Ewald Koester and Ursel Rising. On June 29, 1996 Don married the love of his life, Suzanne. They were married for over 25 years. He worked as a machinist for over 40 years at Gleason Works. Don was a lifelong Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabers, and Rochester Amerks fan. He will be remembered for his love of going to concerts, and spending time with his family. His passion in life was his family.
He is predeceased by his parents, Ewald Koester, and Ursel Rising.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Suzanne Koester, his daughter, Andrea (Mark) Mainwaring, his step-children, Christopher (Jennifer Dow) Rice, and Lynn (Jackson) Badilla, his grandchildren, Phoebe Smith, Madison Smith, and Daphne Mainwaring, Evan Rice, Taylor Badilla, and Gracelyn Rice.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
