Morrice, D. James, PhD
Jim passed away surrounded by family after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Burke, his daughter, Amanda McBride (Patrick), his sister, Mary Bogin (Mike) and their sons Alex and Theo; Catherine's son, Aaron Burke (Ingrid); and his grandchildren, Morgan, Amelia, Katie and Emma.
Jim was born in Imlay City, Michigan July 4, 1942. He graduated from Kalamazoo College and earned his PhD at Indiana University. He had a long career as a Psychologist in the Rochester community, helping both children and adults.
Jim was a loving person who found good in everyone. He will be deeply missed. A service at Mt. Hope Cemetery will be announced in late spring. Donations in his name can be sent to the National Parkinson's Foundation
