Irondequoit: Friday December 21, 2007 at age 87. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ernestine Nicols. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Ann (Stewart) Nicols; children, Diane (Kenneth) Schmitt, Donald Nicols, Jr. and Denise (Ron) Guarino; step-children, Joseph (Kathy) Kelly, Robert Kelly, Steven (Margaret) Kelly and Brian Kelly; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, sister, Anna Magnanti; several sisters & brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Donald was a retiree of the Eastman Kodak Company after 36 years of service, and he was a past Commander of the American Legion Post #99, a member of the American Legion Post #100, past Chef de Gare 111, 40-8, past Commander of the VFW Post #9483, past Grande Chef of the State of NY, past Governor of the Moose Lodge #113 and an usher at St. Salome Church.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, 4-8 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM at St. Salome Church, 4282 Culver Rd. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Forty & Eight Club, c/o Nurses Training, 933 University Ave., Rochester, NY 14607 in his memory.
