Donald G. Wood

February 7, 1937 — April 20, 2018

Rochester:
Passed away on April 20th, 2018 at the age of 81. Predeceased by his parents, Lynn and Francis Wood; brother Harold "Sonny"; sister-in-law Betty Wood. He is survived by his former spouse, Sharon (Russell Smathers) Wood; children, Scott Wood, Mark (Liz) Wood and Lori (Tom) Chatterton; grandchildren, Christopher, Rebecca, Abigail Wood and Everleigh Chatterton, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Donald worked for Bausch & Lomb for 44 years and was an avid Rochester Red Wings fan. Family will receive friends on Thursday April 26th, 2018 from 4PM - 6PM, followed by a service at 6PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard. Contributions may be made to, Challenger Miracle Field of Greater Rochester, PO Box 826, Webster, NY 14580.
