DONNA JEAN (PALMER) MUIR
Donna Jean Muir passed away peacefully on April 19, 2024 at Unity Hospital.
She was a resident of Episcopal Senior Life and a former resident of Bennington Drive.
Donna was born on March 28, 1943 to the late Wilber and Corretha "Crete" {Hull) Palmer. She grew up in Scio, NY and was a 1961 graduate of Scio Central School.
She moved to Rochester following graduation to attend Rochester Comptometry School. She worked at Dairylea as a switchboard operator until they closed. She then worked at Ferguson Bath & Kitchen until retirement.
Donna was married to Jack Muir in 1965 and he passed away in 1993. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister Dawn (Charlie) Gavin.
Survivors are her sisters Cheryl (Boyer) (Robert) Dolan, Wellsville and Wende (Robert) Green, Hornell. Also, her close cousin Zalie (Robert) Linn, Manlius, NY and her other cousins, nephews and nieces.
Donna had a great sense of humor and nothing pleased her more than being with her family and friends.
The family would like to thank Kathy Castellano and her daughter Amy, for their assistance and company they provided to Donna during her last few years.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
