The Life and Legacy of Mrs. Doris Ann Clark "Queen".
Doris Ann Clark Baker was born in Montgomery, Alabama to Bernice Dillard and Thomas Baker. At young age she relocated to Rochester, NY.
Doris Loved spending time with her family she found beauty in everything she encountered. She lost her sight at 21, but she never lost her spirit. Doris had the chance to have love in her for over 40 years until 2007 with James until his death. During that time they raised 6 beautiful children together.
Doris loved to spend time with her siblings, nieces, nephews, & cousins. She would talk on the phone to any and everyone for hours about family events. She loved shopping & going out to eat. She was infamous for her contagious laugh and her sweet tooth. Doris was well known for getting her hair done and keeping her nails fly.
Doris was a fighter. She never gave up. Even through her illness she exemplified strength & grace. Her faith in God surly helped her to transcend into her Heavenly home. Doris is no longer suffering the troubles of the world and is rejoicing in her Heavenly rest.
Doris gracefully departed from her Early home to her Heavenly home on April 12, 2019. She will be truly missed by all family & friends.
Her life will be celebrated April 18, noon-2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. With a service to follow at 2pm.
