Passed peacefully, Wednesday Oct. 4, 2017, at the age of 87.
Predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Earl R. Michelsen.
Survived by sons, Richard (Linda), Peter, Paul (Melissa); grandchildren, Rebekah Bottazzo, Corey, and Kelly; sister Joyce (Frank) Tedesco; brother, Howard (Jane) Hammerbeck; sister-in-law, Angela Michelsen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Doris was an avid Bingo player, and enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and spending time with family. Her family would like to express gratitude to her care givers at Grandeville senior living and Hamilton Manor Nursing Home.
Family invites friends and family to celebrate Doris's life Tuesday, Oct 10 from 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd, with a service to follow at 12pm. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave. or Alzheimer's Association, alz.org in her memory.
