Hartman, Dorothy K. (Koontz)
Passed peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at age 74. Predeceased by her parents, Earl and Winifred Koontz; brother, Robert G. Koontz. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Claude E. Hartman Jr.; children, Lynn A. Hartman of MO, Craig E. Hartman, and Lawrence A. (Patricia) Hartman; grandchildren, Benjamin L., Matthew K. and Michael J. Hartman; sister, Bette (Lloyd) Breeser; brother-in-law, Richard J. (Kathy) Hartman of E. Aurora NY; 17 nieces and nephews. Dorothy was an 11 year member and former President of The Health Association of Rochester and Monroe County Inc. and a 1988 Lancaster Award Recipient (highest honor) from The American Orthoptic Council and The American Association of Certified Orthoptists.
Family and friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, 11 o'clock at Atonement Lutheran Church, 1900 Westfall Rd. Private Interment in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association in her memory.
