Dorothy "Dot" Roundtree was born on September 2, 1944 to the late Tillman and Patsy Roundtree in Savannah, Georgia.
Dot received her formal education and graduated from Tompkins High School. Dot married the love of her life, the late Willie J. Miller, in Savannah, GA. They both then moved to Rochester to begin their life together.
Her favorite scripture is from Psalm 30:5 "...Weeping may endure for the night, but Joy comes in the morning." Dot loved to sing "I'm going to serve the Lord", and she did just that until her last breath.
On Sunday, October 4, 2020, Dot peacefully transitioned from earth to heaven to enter her eternal rest.
She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Anthony (Sonya) Miller; daughter, Patsy Michelle Miller; grandchildren: Shalanda Smith, John R. (Malika) Smith, Brianna Franklin, Hason Miller, Leilani "CoCo" Webb, aunts: Alberta Rose, Molly Haygood; Great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of godchildren, and close friends.

Ave Rochester, NY on Saturday, October 10th, 10:30a - 12 noon. Immediately following, a graveside service will be at Riverside Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
