Dorothy passed unexpectedly at home on Tuesday evening peacefully on October 10, 2023. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, a true friend to many. Dorothy loved her cats, crocheting especially when it helped others such as making blankets for her loved ones and hats for babies in the NICU.
She volunteered several years to The Boys and Girls Scouts, Salvation Army and several food pantries.
She never forgot someone's birthday, mailing cards to people surprising them with plenty of confetti. She showered her family with gifts, dedication and love. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, making it special for her family.
Dorothy was a devoted Catholic, her faith and love for God was very important to her. Her favorite Bible prayer was:
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from the evil one.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.
"If there ever comes a day when we can't be together keep me in your heart I will stay there forever "
Love always and forever, Dorothy
