Spencerport: Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at age 83. Predeceased by his brother, Donald. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; children, Richard S. (Sherri) Bryant, Bethany (David) Porteus, Kimberly (Steven) Bryant-Ebner, Kelly Keiffer; Susan (James) Beehler, Douglas D. Bryant Jr., Robert (Cindy) Bryant; brother, James (Muriel) Bryant; 18 grandchildren; great-grandson, Sean Michael and his "sweet baby" great-granddaughter, Lillian Rose. Douglas was a United States Navy Veteran serving during WWII in the Pacific Theatre, a member of the VFW Post #6703 Hamlin, NY, American Legion Post #330 Spencerport, NY, a retiree Eastman Kodak Company and a school bus driver for BOCES II.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 8th from 10 AM - 12 Noon at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where a Memorial Service will immediately follow calling hours at Noon. Private interment. Contributions may be directed to Wedgewood Nursing Home, 5 Church St., Spencerport, NY 14559 in his memory and for those who helped each day count.
