Douglas Coart Kinslow of Greece, NY passed away on March 13, 2020 at the age of 75.
Doug is survived by his wife of 53 years Nancy Linda (Stanley) Kinslow, two sons Mark (Beth) Kinslow and Daryl (Amy) Kinslow, five grandchildren (Brittany, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Carter, and Lincoln), sister, Pam (Kinslow) Schaeffer, niece Melissa (Schaeffer)(Jeff) Butler, and nephew, Brad Schaeffer. Predeceased by his father, Neil Kinslow; mother, Connie (Bizup) Kinslow, and niece Brenda Schaeffer.
Doug was born in Rochester, NY on May 23, 1944. He was part of the 1st graduating class of Greece Olympia High School in 1962. He played the contrabass bugle for the Rochester Grey Knights Drum and Bugle Corps and was part of the National Championship Corps in 1965. Doug married his high school sweetheart (Nancy Linda Stanley) on May 7, 1966. He retired from Eastman Kodak Company in 1992 after working 28 years at both the Elmgrove and Kodak Park plants. Doug enjoyed the outdoors, playing golf with friends and family, deer and pheasant hunting, and observing wildlife. He loved football, especially the New York Giants, and was equipment manager for the Greece Chargers Pop Warner football teams for many years while his two sons played. Doug also loved animals and had many pets over the years.
A Memorial Service will be held at First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Road, Hilton, NY 14468 on Tuesday March 17, 2020 at 7pm.
