Dr. P. Overby

Passed peacefully April 13, 2023 at the age of 67.

Predeceased by her father, Neptune Pringle & sister, Thiretha Pringle.

Survived by her daughters, Catrise (Michael) Ogbuju & Joi Overby; grandson, Jairus Ogbuju; mother, Allean Pringle; siblings, Shirley Jenkins, Noralean Pringle, Neptune Pringle II, Rudolph (Carmile) Pringle, & Randolph Pringle; uncle, Roosevelt Simmons; & many nieces, nephews, other loving family, dear friends, & adoring students.

Emma received her EdD in 2022. While education was important to her nothing was more important than her worship to Jehovah & her love for her daughters, Catrise & Joi. Emma was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 45 years. Emma looked forward to the promise found in the bible book of Revelation 21: 3,4 pertaining to the hope of a resurrection & eternal life on earth for those who put their faith & trust in Jehovah. Her family looks forward to hugging & laughing with her again at that time.

Emma's passing is a tremendous loss to her family, friends, & students. She will be deeply missed however she has left us with many wonderful memories. We were blessed every moment to have her in our lives.

Dr. Emmalean P. Overby's memorial service will be held Saturday April 22, 1pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4343 Mt. Read Blvd., Rochester, NY 14616.
