Gates: Passed peacefully Sunday, November 27, 2016 at age 93.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 71 years, Ruth; children, Donna (Michael) Hursh, Doug (Paula) Burrows, Patricia Burrows, Connie (Mark) Skelly; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; dear family friends, Ron (Barb) Seaman.
Earl was a U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served his country during WW II and was a member of the Chili American Legion Post #1830.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the 2nd Floor Staff at Unity Hospital.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 3rd from 2-5PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where a Memorial Service with Military Honors will immediately follow calling hours at 5PM.
